Blood of the Lamb

In a time about two days from now, Nessa, traveling from Los Angeles to New York, finds herself diverted to Dallas.
Trapped in a room with Val, a lawyer, Nessa just wants to leave on the next plane out.
But this is Texas, and Nessa is pregnant and Val is on the phone with legislators who are pulling the strings.
With new laws in place Nessa will not be allowed to leave the state until after she gives birth,
even though both women know the foetus is deceased and Nessa’s life is in danger.
Can Val be persuaded to go against her convictions, putting her own job and future career
on the line in order to help Nessa escape?

Blood of the Lamb won Best Play, Best Actress (Ailsa Harrop) and Best Director (Sarah Lockyer) at the MADF Festival of One-Act Plays
and won runner-up and Best Actress (Ailsa Harrop & Robyn Hughes) in the AETF Northern Area Semi Final

It all ends tonight.
Asteroid ‘Theodora’ is on an unstoppable, apocalyptic collision course with Earth,
and every soul on the planet must choose what to do with the precious few hours that remain.
Mia is resigned to a peaceful night alone with her favourite music, a bottle of tequila and a top-tier cheeseboard,
when ex-boyfriend Danny crashes back into her life. Is he here merely to keep her company,
to resolve a few old disagreements, or does he have some other agenda in mind?
